Keyfield Offshore Sdn Bhd
About Company
Founded in April 2013, Keyfield Offshore Sdn. Bhd. (KOSB) is a Malaysian offshore service provider headquartered in Kuala Lumpur. The company specializes in offering comprehensive vessel chartering and offshore accommodation solutions, serving primarily the upstream oil and gas sector. KOSB’s core expertise includes chartering Accommodation Work Boats (AWBs) and other offshore support vessels, along with ship management and onboard services such as catering, housekeeping, laundry, and medical support.
Keyfield currently owns and operates a fleet of 14 Malaysia-flagged vessels, including DP2 Hybrid AWBs, Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs), Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels (AHTS), and a DP2 Cable-laying Barge. Each vessel is configured to accommodate between 50 to 500 offshore personnel. The company holds official licenses from PETRONAS under several SWEC codes—including codes for AWBs, AHTS/PSV, and utility vessels—allowing it to participate in major contracts and panel arrangements with Petronas Carigali and its Petroleum Arrangement Contractors (PACs).
Since its inception, Keyfield has rapidly expanded its fleet. Notable vessel additions include Laguna Setia 1 (its first AWB in 2017), Keyfield Falcon (2021), Keyfield Grace, Compassion, and Commander (2022), and most recently, IMS Aman and Helms 1 in 2023–24. In April 2024, Keyfield International Berhad successfully listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia, reinforcing the group’s financial standing and growth trajectory.
Keyfield’s business model emphasizes safety, reliability, and responsive offshore support, backed by experienced operational teams and established HSE protocols. Its major clientele includes national and international oil and gas companies, shipowners, and offshore contractors. Positioned as a leading offshore accommodation partner, the company continues to deliver strategic maritime services across Malaysia and the region.
